Background:
Sussex-based bedding brand Piglet in Bed has partnered with historic British design house Morris & Co. to create a new nature-inspired bedding collection. The partnership gives traditional designs a new, contemporary style.
The collection features familiar Morris & Co. motifs, including the climbing branches and acorns of the Oak pattern, now softened into a calming Leafy Green, and the scrolling acanthus leaves of Double Bough, originally designed by John Henry Dearle in 1892. The designs have been reissued for 2025 with vibrant, modern colors, such as a vivid pop against Webbs Blue.
On Piglet’s side, the designs are crafted in the brand’s signature bed sheet fabrics, including linen and crisp 100% cotton percale, all pre-washed to create a soft, lived-in feel.
Adam Crick, Design Manager at Piglet in Bed, said the collection was created to celebrate skilled craftsmanship, meaningful designs, and quality home decor, using Morris & Co.’s detailed nature-inspired patterns.
The collaboration offers a versatile approach to styling, allowing customers to layer patterns for a cozy, maximalist look or add subtle touches through pillowcases and fitted sheets. The collection brings together classic designs and Piglet in Bed’s high-quality fabrics, making it timeless and very comfortable.
